The dream of becoming a Mental Health counselor turned in my mind through imagination and day dreams as a young child. Life allowed optimal experiences and adventures to align me with this goal, ensuring continued dreaming & the right education. Ultimately allowing me to become the counselor I have dreamt of becoming.
I graduated with my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling June of 2017 from Capella University. I previously worked for Community Support Center-Boise (Since October 2016), LDS Family Services in Boise Idaho and in the private sector.
I am passionate about research and studies of theory surrounding Schizophrenia/psychosis and it’s treatments, and incorporate Positive Psychology into each session. I also thoroughly enjoy the geriatric population (with over 5 years of experience in nursing homes) and the life adjustments that this age group experiences. I also spend a large portion of my practice with those overcoming sexual, physical, emotional abuse and pornography addiction.
