Katie Andersen LMSW

My name is Katie Andersen (she/her). I was born and raised in Idaho and enjoy being outdoors and with my family. I am a Master of Social Work with education from Boise State University and Case Western Reserve University specialized in adult mental health with a background in geriatrics, but have also seen some children and younger adults. I have worked in the mental health field since 2015. I have accreditation in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as training in psychodynamic existential therapy, co-occurring disorders, and substance use. I operate under the strength’s based model, emphasizing person-centered and informed care and trauma informed and competent care. LGBTQIA+ friendly.
