Rhonda Johnson (LMSW)

With a Master of Social Work from Boise State University (2013) and a lifetime of hands-on experience connecting with people from all walks of life, I bring a deeply human and empowering approach to therapy. My practice blends the empathy and authenticity of Client-Centered Therapy with the purpose-driven, relational lens of Adlerian Theory, guided by the belief that every individual holds the power to reshape their life story.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Techniques to help clients build practical skills that challenge self-defeating thoughts and beliefs. By fostering insight and encouraging personal responsibility, my goal is to support people in cultivating deeper connections, rediscovering joy, and embracing their unique journey with courage and clarity.

As a parent to six children—five of my own and a niece who joined our family at age six—I’ve lived the complexities of nurturing resilience, navigating change, and embracing the uniqueness of each person. My diverse life experiences have shaped a therapeutic style that is flexible, intuitive, and deeply respectful of each client’s story.

Currently, I’m pursuing certification in Play Therapy through the Association for Play Therapy, expanding my ability to support children and families through creative, developmentally attuned methods.

Whether you're navigating life transitions, seeking emotional clarity, or simply looking for a space to be heard, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and unwavering belief in your capacity to grow
