Rhonda Johnson LMSW
I am here for you. I believe that clients have the power to change themselves by building skills to change self-defeating thoughts and beliefs that will help them better connect with others and find joy in their life journey. I earned a Master of Social Work from Boise State University in 2013 and have raised 6 kids (five of my own and a niece we brought in to our family when she was 6 years old.) I have spent my life working with all ages of people and doing all different kinds of things which has given me a wealth of experience working with all kinds of people. I love people! I love learning about each client and helping them to discover their strengths and understand their weaknesses.
I love taking training courses and learning new things, particularly when it comes to helping my clients. I am working with a fantastic play therapist supervisor, Dr. Michael Whitehead, to become certified in Play Therapy. My most common therapy modalities use CBT, person-centered, & strength-based therapies. Everyone is unique and has much to contribute to this world and I will work hard, research, and take the training I feel will best help each client. I would be honored to join you in your journey to good mental health.
